Voynich Manuscript Revealed (2018)

The Voynich Manuscript is a mysterious medieval manuscript written in the early 15th century. To date, scientists, historians, mathematicians and linguists have struggled to decipher the manuscript. However, the mystery has finally been put to rest. Ata Team Alberta (ATA) has deciphered and translated over 30% the manuscript. Currently, a formal paper of the philological study was submitted to an academic journal in John Hopkins University.\n\nturkicresearch@gmail.com

A Language Made Of Music

Today's guest is 12tone! Go subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTUtqcDkzw7bisadh6AOx5w - and here's their video about the Imperial March: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jA36-mQEYwk\n\nSolresol is a language, invented out of whole cloth by Jean-François Sudre in the 19th century, that used seven musical notes to create all the words that he thought you'd ever need. It did work: so why aren't we all speaking in notes right now?\n\nSOURCES:\nhttp://web.archive.org/web/20060115061414/http://www.forteantimes.com/articles/145_solresol.shtml\nhttps://i.sidosi.org/resources/la-telephonie/la-telephonie.html\nhttp://www.ifost.org.au/~gregb/solresol/sorsoeng.htm\nhttp://www.ifost.org.au/~gregb/solresol/sudre-book.pdf\nhttp://web.archive.org/web/20060114084542/http://www.ptialaska.net:80/~srice/solresol/intro.htm\nhttps://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-3lBxMURGN4AtGG846kuVGVNuEiHewCT88PiBahnODA/edit#gid=0\nhttps://www.startasl.com/history-of-sign-language_html\nhttp://www.yougowords.com/1-syllables\nAnd thanks to the community at https://www.sidosi.org for collecting many these resources into one place!

What are mini brains? - Madeline Lancaster

Check out our Patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/teded\n\nView full lesson: https://ed.ted.com/lessons/can-we-grow-human-brains-outside-our-bodies-madeline-lancaster\n\nShielded by our thick skulls and swaddled in layers of protective tissue, the human brain is extremely difficult to observe in action. Luckily, scientists can use brain organoids — pencil eraser-sized masses of cells that function like human brains but aren’t part of an organism — to look closer. How do they do it? And is it ethical? Madeline Lancaster shares how to make a brain in a lab.\n\nLesson by Madeline Lancaster, animation by Adam Wells.\n\nThank you so much to our patrons for your support! However, for a supernova to produce the same effects it needs to be much closer – within 20 to 30 light years. There are definitely no stars in that range that could explode any time soon. However the Sun isn’t stationary. It orbits the Milky Way, and its galactic neighbors come and go. Maybe in a few 250-million-year orbits we stellar timebomb will wander into our vicinity. However it’s really the GRBs that are most likely to hit us first, and hit us more often. We should certainly expect one in the next half-to-one-billion years, even if it’s not WR104.\n\nHosted by Matt O'Dowd\nWritten by Matt O'Dowd\nProduced by Rusty Ward\nGraphics by Kurt Ross\nAssistant Editing and Sound Design by Mike Petrow and Meah Denee Barrington\nMade by Kornhaber Brown (www.kornhaberbrown.com)\n\nSpecial thanks to our Patreon Big Bang, Quasar and Hypernova Supporters: \n\nBig Bang\nCoolAsCats\nDavid Nicklas\nWilliam James Sidis\n\nQuasar\nTambe Barsbay\nMayank M. A Simpler Life IN PRACTICE

If you're a regular viewer please DON'T try to become a Patreon supporter for as little as $1 per video because they are of course free for me to make, and I don't even have a Patreon account. I have NO EXPENSES when I make these videos. I only invest my time in them, and my love for my heritage of course. And I do so with pleasure. Trying to save our heritage is my objective, not to make money by pretending to do so. \n\nIf you want to support me some way, you can (and get something in return when you do) by buying my pro-European books from here: https://www.amazon.com/Varg-Vikernes/e/B00IVZ2KPO/ref=dp_byline_cont_book_1
