At his appeal judgement at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, Slobodan Praljak, 72, shouted out angrily Praljak is not a criminal then drank from a small brown bottle. \n\nThe hearing was quickly suspended as his lawyer shouted out my client says he has taken poison. After all, cities are some of the most diverse places on the planet. They need to be built for a variety of needs.\n\nIn recent years, these competing interests have surfaced conflict over an unlikely interest: purposefully uncomfortable benches. \n\nEnter the New York City MTA. They’ve installed 'leaning bars’ to supplement traditional benches & save platform space. But designs like this carry an often invisible cost: they rob citizens of hospitable public space. And the people who experience this cost most directly are those experiencing homelessness.\n\nA few notes of thanks:\n\nFirst to Historian A. Roger Ekirch who kindly got me up to speed on the expansion of streetlights in historic western city districts.\n\nAnother thanks goes to author Veronica Harnish, who outlined some of the pitfalls that people experiencing homelessness face when choosing between sleeping rough or utilizing emergency shelters. بعد إعلان ترامب أمريكا القدس عاصمة لليهود، ضج العالم أجمع بالرفض لما أعلنه الرئيس الأمريكي الذي دائمًا ما يوصف بالجنون، ومن أرز الدول التي أعلنت رفضها الشديد لذلك الإعلان تركيا وكوريا الشمالية\n\nو حذر الرئيس التركي رجب طيب أردوغان من نقل السفارة، وحذر ترمب من أن القدس خط أحمر، وهدد بأن بلاده ستقطع علاقتها بإسرائيل إن اعترفت أميركا بالقدس عاصمة لإسرائيل، بينما قال رئيس الوزراء بن علي يلدرم إن تركيا ستواصل الوقوف إلى جانب الفلسطينيين في قضيتهم العادلة.\nوقال أردوغان: أقول للسيد ترامب القدس خط أحمر بالنسبة إلى المسلمين. في حال جرى اتخاذ مثل هذه الخطوة سنعقد اجتماعا لمنظمة التعاون الإسلامي في إسطنبول، وسنحرّك العالم الإسلامي من خلال فعاليات هامة.\nوأشار أردوغان إلى أن تركيا ولكونها تتولى الرئاسة الدورية لمنظمة التعاون الإسلامي، ستتابع هذه القضية حتى النهاية.\n\nأما عن كوريا الشمالية العدو اللدود لواشنطن، فأعلن المتحدث باسم حكومتها، تنديد الزعيم كيم جونج أون بقرار الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب الاعتراف بالقدس عاصمة لإسرائيل.\n\nوأوضح أن الزعيم الكوري الشمالي أعرب عن موقفه بعبارة ساخرة ومهينة للكيان، حيث قال لا توجد دولة تسمى إسرائيل حتى تصبح عاصمتها القدس.\n\nوأكد أن العلاقات بين كوريا الشمالية وإسرائيل تتسم بعدائية كبيرة، ولم تعترف كوريا الشمالية مطلقًا بدولة إسرائيل، وتدينها بوصفها تابعا إمبرياليا. \nومنذ عام 1988 تعترف كوريا الشمالية بسيادة دولة فلسطين على كل أرضها ، باستثناء مرتفعات الجولان، التي تعترف بها كجزء من سوريا.\n\n\nتابعنا على موقع التواصل الاجماعى ........
