Editorial Analysis

A 14 hour round day-trip from North Wales to take my 86 year old Dad to see the British and Canadian Lancasters fly over Derwent Dam in Derbyshire, on the 21st Sept 2014. Lots of driving and an 8 mile round walk up to the dam was well worth it for a few minutes of watching these fantastic sights and sounds, especially as the fly-past was preceded by a Hurricane and Spitfire flypast too!! In the hour and a half of walking back to the car, we avoided being stationary in the traffic chaos too!!
